Its main character, Naruto Uzumaki, is a loud, hyperactive, adolescent ninja who constantly searches for approval and recognition, as well as to become Hokage, acknowledged as the leader and strongest of all ninja in the village.

Naruto places strong emphasis on character development. Almost all outcomes are a result of decisions, character, and personality; very few things happen just because of chance.

How To Draw Naruto - Step No. 1

For beginners, I would suggest you to have a still 2D picture of Naruto. It's easy and I would recommend you to get Naruto comic since you can learn how to draw different facial expression of Naruto and other Naruto characters.

Select a nice place to sit. Make a cup of coffee or hot chocolate if you want.

How To Draw Naruto - Step No. 2

Take a HB or B grade graphite pencil. Use it to draw pencil sketch face of your Naruto pencil drawing. Start by drawing pencil sketch of an inverted egg-shaped oval first.

Look at your Naruto picture and create a vertical line to locate which way Naruto is facing.

Create an elongated horizontal line at the upper part (eyes position).

Create a circle at each side of the face, a short horizontal line at the lower part (mouth) of the face to create his nose and mouth. Create a rectangle at the top for his head band.

Then, stop looking at your pencil sketch face of Naruto and compare it with your subject.

Ask these two questions:-

1. Does it has a correct size to be on your paper?
2. Does it has a correct angle according to your Naruto picture?

If the answer is NOT to any of these questions...Erase your drawing pencil sketch, and re-sketch your pencil sketch face of Naruto according to the correct size and angle.

Use a 2B grade graphite pencil and create an outline pencil sketch of Naruto's eyes, eyebrows and his famous three stripes on each cheek.









Then, create Naruto's ears, and erase unwanted sketches.

Draw his head band and create the logo. Draw a semi-circle pencil sketch on top of the head band. This is useful to guide you to create his zig-zag hair by following the semi-circle.
